Because it's not of interest to anyone. As an end user, a program could have 1000, 100000, or 100000000000 lines of code, and it would make no difference whatsoever to me.
And if you think that many LOC = bloat, then I don't even know what to tell you. It sounds like you never wrote a large program before.
