im trying to start 3d prog biz but it is very confusing to start as i ve no experience and i ve never got any worthwhile paying jobs... i know nSFW is to be avoided but otherwise any choices dont look as good and i have hard time making the big leap to get any money with it

what do i do???

What's the problem with nsfw? Money is money. It doesn't matter if your endusers are drooling perverts. Sure you are likely going to meet a couple people which aren't only in it for the money and it's in your best interest to avoid those but in general everyone is just trying to make a living while laughing about the sad idiots who pay for it in the end.

well i never saw any big studios doing nsfw. not back in the 60s and not ever until now. just trying to earn the big bucks here.

beside the girls and their dads hate them very much anyway and legally its retarded so i dont wanna do it unless it s an OK by everyone. and so far theres nobody paying at all while the porners are broke af.

It's not like you are obligated to show people your work. It's usually enough to have some decoy stuff lying around for the nosy pests that won't quit asking.

Admittedly it's been a while since i've worked with the adult entertainment industry but i think it's safe to say that they generally aren't broke af. It's one of the safest industries there is. Of course there is small and huge operations like everywhere else and you'd likely have to climb up the ladder little by little. Just saying that it would be stupid to decline their money as you don't have to tell anyone about it.

I am afraid there isn't much of a story worth telling. I did tech work and it's pretty much the same as every other tech work. It's just that there happen to be a lot of naked women on the sites you code, administrate and so on.

Sure, it's somewhat funny to go to the office for a meeting and randomly run into a guy that seems vaguely familiar just to later realize you know him because he is starring in that distasteful, low grade placeholder content you were sent but it's not like this is mindblowing or anything. All those performers are just random people after all. They have weird jobs but that's it most of the time.

TL;DR: I am not sure what you want to hear.

If you're not confident with your portfolio, why would anybody else want to hire your skills as a 3D artist? That makes no sense to me that people want to hire shit rate artists. What makes sense is to continue to improve your skills and then build a portfolio that shows off high professional skills.

Use Unreal Engine to do 3d mecha animation like the one from Studio ACTAS
