Current Experiment
Spam Cam Data
THE PROJECT
Every four days (or so) in the afternoon we photograph the research subjects. After careful analysis, we then upload the photo to the Spam Cam home page. The subjects are never moved from their location (the bedroom), although they remain covered unless photos are being taken. (The cover is a stopgap measure to prevent cats from eating the Spam, particularly as it begins to reek.)
THE EQUIPMENT
A tripod-mounted Kodak DC50 Digital Camera
Sunbeam Bird Mix 2000 thermometer
An indoor bedroom, average daily temperature 65 degrees
THE SUBJECTS
Test subjects:
Spam (regular-flavor)
A starch lovers delight, based on viewer requests (clockwise):
mini Spam
a slice of raisen bagel
a slice of a glazed donut with chocolate frosting
a slice of a glazed donut
a slice of a microwave baked potato, no toppings
animal crackers (elephant, bison, sheep, rabbit)
Kraft macaroni and chesse
Note that subjects may vary depending on putrification, aroma, viscosity, and reader preference.
