PhD student, Aaron Mills, wins Vanier scholarship

Aaron Mills, who entered the PhD program in Law & Society this year, has been awarded a prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. The proposed title of his thesis is Riding Mishibizhiw’s Waves: A Theory of Anishinaabe Legal Order. It will articulate a theory of Anishinaabe Law and explore how Canadian and Indigenous legal traditions can exist together. Congratulations to Aaron!
