John Borrows publishes new book

John Borrows has published a new book, entitled Freedom & Indigenous Constitutionalism (Univ. of Toronto Press, May, 2016).

The book "celebrates the emancipatory potential of Indigenous traditions, considers their value as the basis for good laws and good lives, and critiques the failure of Canadian constitutional traditions to recognize their significance."

The beautiful cover art was done by Ojibway artist Charmaine Jenner.
