Alum Tino Di Bella awarded the CBABC President's Medal

August 7, 2014 – Tino Di Bella, alum and valued friend of UVic Law, has been awarded the President’s Medal by the BC branch of the Canadian Bar Association (CBABC) in recognition of the many volunteer hours he has dedicated to law reform.

Di Bella, a general practitioner in Victoria, is currently the chair of the British Columbia Law Institute and a past chair of the CBABC’s Legislation and Law Reform Committee.

Awarded personally by the CBABC president each year, the President’s Medal honours an outstanding lawyer who has been recognized for one or more of the following: legal academic proficiency, works of legal scholarship, significant contribution to the profession, or noteworthy contribution to Canadian public life.
