Gator spotted in local Starbucks drive-thru

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) - North Port Fire Rescue were called out to a Starbucks in North Port for reports of an alligator on the loose Saturday morning.
Photos posted to Facebook show the reptile walking near the store’s drive-thru. “Who knew our mornings could get so wild? Remember folks, even on your morning coffee run, always expect the unexpected!” read fire rescue’s Facebook post.
NPFR coordinated with North Port Police Department to safely relocate the gator to a nearby pond.
There were no reported injuries while the gator was on the loose.
