About

Stephanie is from Homalco First Nation, a small community on Vancouver Island where she grew up. In addition to her BA in English, Stephanie holds an MA in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University. She has held communications and marketing roles for tourism, First Nation, municipal government and post-secondary organizations, in addition to operating her own consulting business. 

At UVic, Stephanie was a student-athlete on the Vikes Track & Field/Cross-Country Team. She has since developed connections within the sport community in Kelowna, where she has held board positions, volunteered and/or been a member of local running, cycling, Ultimate and Nordic skiing clubs.
