Employment opportunities

The Department of Greek and Roman Studies invites applications to teach courses in Greek mythology, archaeology, and language.  The Department is seeking sessional lecturers for the following three courses during the 2024-2025 academic year:

Fall 2024

GRS 200: “Greek and Roman Mythology”

GRS 358: “The Ancient City of Athens”

Spring 2025

Greek 202: “Introduction to Greek Literature”     

Please send (by email) a letter expressing interest in these courses.  Include evidence of teaching experience and innovative pedagogy, a complete CV, and a teaching reference to: Mark Nugent,     Acting Chair, Department of Greek and Roman Studies (grschair@uvic.ca) before Monday, June 3, 2024.
