Undergraduate Italian studies

Twelve students looking at the camera in a straight line in a classroom

Italy has been a principal contributor to the evolution of the arts, sciences and ideas for the greater part of the last 700 years. An understanding of the language and culture of Italy is essential for a greater appreciation of celebrated figures like Dante, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Machiavelli.

Italy has become an increasingly important trading partner with Canada. Career options exist in the fields of teaching, translation, business, hotel management, tourism, hospitality and much more.
