I joined the Faculty of Law in 1989 and was promoted to associate professor in 1994 and full professor in 2007. I taught Constitutional Law; Feminist Legal Theories; Equality, Human Rights and Social Justice Law; and Legal Process. I also taught Legal Methodologies as part of the law school's Graduate Program.

My past research interests include feminist critiques of constitutional rights, the construction of family relations under the Charter of Rights, and the role of rights-based strategies and discourses in achieving progressive social change for women.
