Fines

Each item you check out will have a due date and time. Due dates may change based on renewals and recall requests. Items not returned or renewed by the due date/time are subject to overdue fines or replacement charges.

  • Borrowing is blocked when fines or charges reach $20.00 or more.
  • Borrowing privileges may be reinstated when outstanding charges are paid.

Outstanding fines can be paid:

  • online by Interac, VISA or MasterCard, here (Please note that we are unable to process online payments for Community Borrowers - these patrons must settle fines at the Ask Us Desk)
  • in person by Interac, VISA, MasterCard at the Ask Us Desk
  • in person by cash or cheque at the Ask Us Desk

Please report damaged library items to the Ask Us Desk. Borrowers may be charged a replacement cost, and applicable overdue fines.

An item with an overdue fine of $20.00 will be assumed lost, and a replacement bill will be issued.
