Overnight closure on Ring Road

A section of Ring Road will be temporarily closed overnight on Thursday, Apr. 11. 

Both lanes of Ring Road will be closed from the University Drive Entrance to Parking Lot 1 (in front of the Engineering and Computer Science Buidlings) for the following dates/times:

Intermittent closures: Thursday, Apr. 11, 9-11 p.m.  
Full closure: Thursday, Apr. 11 at 11 p.m. to Friday, Apr. 12 at 6 a.m.

During this period, BC Transit buses will take alternative routes to get to and from the UVic bus loop.  

The closures allow for important work to take place for the Engineering Expansion Project. Organizers have taken steps to minimize impacts on the campus community by scheduling the closure to occur outside of usual work/study hours.

Please give yourself lots of time to get to and from campus.
