Become a Research Assistant

The Centre for Youth & Society regularly hires students for positions as Research Assistants, both within and outside the WorkStudy program. Opportunities are available throughout the year; we hire most students to start in September at the beginning of the school year.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities are available to students who are interested in interdisciplinary research focused on children and youth health and well-being. Students who are interested in volunteering at the Centre can submit an application through our online form.

Write for the Youth & Family Community Research Exchange

The Youth & Family Community Research Exchange is an innovative project which matches students who are interested in writing a 10-12 page literature review with non-profits who are seeking information relating to their programs. Recent topics include:

  • Improving employment readiness for youth with learning disabilities through recreation
  • Best practices in online counselling
  • Transitional housing for youth
  • Decolonization in an educational context
