Meet Jennifer Ligue

About

I am part of the Student Welcome Team where I assist students with appointment booking and other inquiries. I also help manage the busy schedules of doctors, nurses and counsellors. I joined the Student Wellness Centre in 2020, after working in a family practice doctor’s office in Victoria for more than three years as a medical office assistant.

I was born in Saudi Arabia, raised and studied in Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. I worked as Registered Nurse in Philippines for a year and 6 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, then I moved to Canada in 2016.

My pronouns are she/her.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, playing and walking with my dog in the park or waterfronts, and watching movies and playing computer or console games.
