Rockslide closes road in Ashland City

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Large rocks fell onto a road in Ashland City overnight, blocking all lanes of traffic.

Residents along River Trace in Davidson County were blocked after a portion of the rock wall broke off and covered the road.

River Trace begins and ends on Highway 12, so traffic can still get around the rock pile going west along the Cumberland River.

No injuries were reported.
