Multiple victims in Hopkinsville shooting near health department, police say
Police are asking that the public avoid the area.

UPDATE: Three juveniles and one adult were hit by gunfire. One suspect is in custody, but police believe there could be more arrests made. The investigation is ongoing.
PREVIOUS: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Hopkinsville Police Department (HPD) is investigating a shooting on Sunday night.
Police responded to the 500 block of Canton Street near the health department. Hopkinsville police said three people were shot and that they’re in stable condition. Two will be flown to hospitals in Nashville for trauma recovery.
The HPD is asking everyone to avoid the area while police investigate and secure the scene.
