NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A search is underway for vandals after someone drove through a Lincoln County cemetery last week, according to the sheriff’s department.
The sheriff’s department said on the night of May 8 or the morning of May 9, a vehicle drove into Lincoln Cemetery and vandalized several headstones.
“Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is asking citizens if you know of any information about this incident contact Investigators at 931-433-9821. As always you can remain anonymous,” LCSD said.
In a separate case, the sheriff’s department arrested a man after a theft of flower arrangements from Kelso Cemetery.
Terry Joe Johnson was arrested on May 7 for charges of theft up to $1,000 and vandalism of up to $1,000.
