NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Vanderbilt baseball team visited the family of Asher Sullivan on Wednesday before heading up to their series at the University of Kentucky.

Rutherford County Director of Schools Jimmy Sullivan said his family is thankful to the team for stopping by to check on Asher.

The 10-year-old was swept into a storm drain during last week’s severe weather outbreak.

Sullivan said his son has seen no changes from Wednesday or on Thursday. He adds that they will be meeting with the care team in the afternoon to have conversations about the next steps.

“Meeting with the care team this afternoon to start having the hard conversations about next steps and brain baseline function,” he said.
