THROUGH TOMORROW:
Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will develop across the Mid State. They will become widespread and produce heavy downpours at times. A sudden strong wind gust or two will be possible, but not likely. For the most part, tonight’s weather looks like just a heavy rain event. Rainfall totals overnight of 1″ to 2″ will be possible across the Mid State.
Showers will linger into early tomorrow, especially for eastern Middle Tennessee. It’s likely, we will even have a few showers in spots early Tuesday in Nashville.
A little bit of sunshine should return Tuesday afternoon. High, 79.
MID-WEEK:
Wednesday will begin with spotty dense fog. Then, the sky will turn partly cloudy and hot. High, 87.
Upper 80s are likely for highs on Thursday, under a partly cloudy sky.
FRIDAY RAIN:
Showers and thunderstorms will return to the Mid-State Friday, knocking temperatures back to the upper 70s for the afternoon.
THIS WEEKEND:
This weekend will be pleasant and slightly warmer than average, in the low 80s.
There could be an early shower Saturday. Rain chance, 20%. A late day shower is possible Sunday. Otherwise, Sunday looks partly cloudy and warm.
NEXT WEEK:
Another batch of showers and thunderstorms will move through late Monday of next week. The high will be near 80.
