NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Showers and thunderstorms will develop through Friday and last into tonight and some of the weekend.

Expect a few lighting strikes and rumbles of thunder. This could cause a pause of any outdoor events on Friday evening, like the Morgan Wallen concert at Nissan Stadium.

However, the storms should be off and on in nature, so, it shouldn’t cause major delays. Temperatures should be in the low 70s. Expect traffic delays tonight with the weather playing a role and big events like concerts and the Nashville Predators playoff game at Bridgestone Arena.

Unsettled weather will stick around through this weekend.

While rain will be possible at any time, showers and thunderstorms will be most likely Saturday afternoon and Sunday night. However, there will be lots of dry time, too.

The weekend will be warmer and equally humid. High Saturday, 82. High Sunday, 85.

Occasional showers and storms can be expected Monday through Thursday of next week.
