(CNN) - NFL legend Tom Brady says he regrets parts of his recent roast.

The Netflix show “The Greatest Roast of All Time” was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and aired earlier this month.

Presenters joked about a number of sensitive topics throughout the special.

Brady shared on a podcast since the show aired that he didn’t realize how jokes about his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen would affect his family.

He added that the experience will help make him a better father in the future.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who played for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, retired for a second time after the 2021 season.

He is also a five-time Super Bowl MVP and won three NFL MVP awards.
