Teenager dies after shooting in Madison
The investigation is ongoing but police say early signs point to the victim knowing the shooter.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homicide detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting in Madison on Monday afternoon.
MNPD said 19-year-old Kenneth Buford Jr. was shot just after 3 p.m. on Monday in a field off Gallatin Pike near McKinley Street. Buford was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he later died.
A homicide investigation into the incident is underway and MNPD reports that detectives are pursuing strong leads to identity the shooter. Early signs point to Buford being shot by someone he knew, according to police.
