NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The calendar may say Spring, but our weather is not done with cold just yet.

Tonight into tomorrow morning, we have another threat of frost across the Mid State as temperatures drop into the 30s again. You’ll want to hold off on planting or gardening for a little while longer.

As a general rule of thumb, meteorologists say to hold off on any weather-sensitive plants until tax day. On average, we see our last hard freeze by April 1st and our last frost in mid-April.

Some areas in the Cumberland Plateau could see frost or freeze conditions a little later than the rest of the Mid State.
