NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Rain exits leaving a clearer sky for Sunday and much warmer temperatures through the beginning of next week.

THROUGH MORNING:

Rain is diminishing across Middle Tennessee. The sky will clear but areas of fog will form toward morning, low 62.

SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY:

Sunday will be much drier and much warmer. Plan on lots of sunshine throughout the day with high temperatures climbing into the mid 80s. Lows remain in the low 60s.

The hot, dry weather carries into the first half of the week. Monday will be partly cloudy and warm again in the upper 80s. We will make a run at our first 90º day of the year on Tuesday with the sunshine sticking around.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY:

Rain showers return for the second half of the week.

Wednesday expect afternoon showers with highs in the low to mid 80s. It will also be breezy throughout the day.

Temperatures fall back to where they should be for this time of the year by the end of the week. We’ll be back around 80º to the low 80s Thursday through Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each day.
