This is a bad post to start a bad thread. Is linking to a discussion from the self-proclaimed front page of the Internet supposed to draw us like moths to a flame? I expect linking to Reddit discussions without even a single sentence for context to happen at Hacker News, not here.

Reddit is a garbage website, populated primarily by garbage people, and the best solution is to avoid using it. When I deign to visit Reddit, I use the old interface, and I do my WWW browsing over Tor. This teddit doesn't look very nice in older WWW browsers.

foldable comments w/o js is nice but I will stick to old.reddit.com for now

boycotting reddit is not like avoiding Facebook,
reddit actually hosts valuable content & discussion, e.g. programming subreddits, game mods, niche hobbies and interests.

but there is a [reddit alternative#n] without censorship and sjws

well, until these niche communities migrate, i'll have to read reddit.

I agree with >>4, I mainly read niche subreddits communities, but don't participate, so something like this is nice.

Debatable.

boycotting reddit is not like avoiding Facebook

You need to explain this further, because both seem like modern social medias to me.

reddit actually hosts valuable content & discussion

Depends on what you value. Reddit is designed to be an echo chamber for popular ideas, anything against the norm gets punished. If you value what others think, then I guess Reddit is fine for you.

programming subreddits, game mods, niche hobbies and interests.

Niche boards are fine, mainly becasue of lower traffic. This makes my point above less relevant.

well, until these niche communities migrate, i'll have to read reddit.

Well, most of the things you listed are not exclusive to reddit. There are plenty of other places on the internet to talk about them, you just have to find them.

Why would you go on any discussion forum if not because you value what others think? If you are only interested in your own thoughts, meditate.

Why do you come to this very board?

Because I am interested in what other programmers have to say. Except for FrozenVoid, they can fuck off.

I come here for a similar reason as >>9; I am interested in the ideas of other programmers and I enjoy partaking in discussions about topics that I like and am knowledgeable in.

Why would you go on any discussion forum if not because you value what others think?

You seemed to have missed my point. I do care, but only to a certain extent. It is just the "popular" opinions that get regurgitated over and over that I do not care for. Firstly, because they're usually wrong, and secondly because they're just boring. I want to hear something different.

who care.

Fix your i2paddresshelpers, they're missing a `?' at the start.

Well, this is just a front-end. So you can access all the niche communities with this. No one has to migrate anywhere other than the user who wants to consume the content.
