If quantum computing becomes widespread, what will happen to Common Lisp? Will it become obsolete? Can macros rescue Common Lisp in this case?
Common Lisp would hopefully get a new ANSI standard that would increase its size far beyond C, C++, Java, and Ada combined.

Why would that be the case? Common Lisp is one of the few languages with Quantum Computing support.
