any tips getting a career in cloud computing? seems like good money being able to do IT stuff in cloud server thing... azure or alibaba

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but imho this is the kind of stuff you just have to go to school for, unless you have great connections and can get yourself a junior position somewhere and work your way up. Good luck, it's tough out there.
