can you program a walk cycle of a bipedal rig "scientifically" so to avoid limping(being balanced), floaty orjittering lineart?

how do you notate it scientifically, maybe using cartesian coordinates like left leg having similar amount of force with right leg at different time of the walk?

I know it's possible but I couldn't do such a thing right now. I'd need to spend a couple of months studying literature to get the fundamentals involved in bipedal motion.

I bet a single PID controller could do it.

>>4 That's a very diverse tool. What i need is something specifically used for walk cycle, of an animation especially. It is supposed to be sort of a notation of how the character moves on screen, maybe with limited notation like simple math operation i guess.
