The Racket Programming Language

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like you to tell me a little bit about Racket. I hear it's a descendent of Scheme, do you know what they kept and what they changed? Maybe someone here's used it, or knows someone who does? I hear John Carmack's a fan, so it can't be too shabby, can it?

W-Would you like to explore the Racket Programming Language together, Anonymous?

Do you feel yourself opening yet-another-chapter -- delving into what'll eventually be frigid howls, another crushed hope for your programming seeking.
To fixate till asphyxiation.

Are you ready to fall, cradled with a thousand parentheses latched unto thine thorax?
Stacked to drape down as a set of frizzy wings?

What bloodlust will stir up! How could you be so conned!
All of these arranged ascii's only cooing a simple phrase, "with Racket, there's no other way. Nothing to say."
A hint of vanilla aftermath with that bitter iron-tart crimson.

May God help you.
