why do so many forums and imageboard have full width text

1 2023-03-04 12:40

most find it hard to read longs lines of text. Is there a reason they choose to not set a max width?

you can resize the window to change the width

That sounds like a you problem. Just read the long lines of text.

just use a browser extension for your normie brain to understand the content then. There should be some out there to reformat the html or whatever.......

Wow so many retards here don't know about accessible web design. Not everyone is a zoomer with peak eyesight. I can't stare at a screen for more than 5 minutes without looking away.
Even back in the days people used to manually insert line breaks to make text readable.

Normies can't format.

How do boomers not realize that maximizing their windows all the time is the cause of *both* the lack of screen space and bad formatting.
I guess this complete failure to reason about the world explains why they're angry all the time.

There's a reason books aren't wider than taller

There's a reason most imageboard look the same from the time they created. Most of them are run by retards with little knowledge of programming and UX design.
