Oh, UXN code here, nice

You will be prosecuted by the Lisp inquisition for your heretical writings. Lisp is the only approved programming language.

Write a Lisp interpreter for uxn and I will use it to redeem my low effort shitpost
Currently there are a couple Forth dialects but I'm really bad with Forth as you can probably tell

5 2023-12-11 04:33

Great.

6 2023-12-16 17:55

UXN!¿?

7 2023-12-21 16:06

uxn is stupid
virtual machine? lol what a shit
bare-metal or get out

I'm not the guy you're replying to but the rationale behind it is actually insightful and cites Pascal p-code and Another World as prior art
WASM is a more mainstream attempt at a similar thing, except for the part about salvaging e-waste, where uxn is clearly more appropriate

I like to create video games for the TIC-80 fantasy computer. I transfer the game ROM to a Chinese handheld gaming console that runs a TIC-80 emulator.

absolutely stupid
stack machine has a place and time to be useful
in this case, it is stupidity and ego-masturbation

i can not think of anything less "energy efficient" than that
as the authors are gourmet-gypsies who live on "boat"
the solution they came up with would be the same as building a giant boat in the shape of a pool
then putting the boat (where they are) in the giant-boat-pool

it looks like something out of a children's cartoon

11 2023-12-26 22:57

UXN is pretty cool.

"boat"

More like "bloat" amirite?¡¿!¿?!i!¡1

I tried to show the uxn people how my work could be applied to uxn, but they got really pissy and kicked me from the channel when they learned about some of my thoughts on social topics.

You're a disgusting piece of shit. That was kind of insensitive of them. Nobody will ever love you. Maybe they could have been more open minded and less concerned with petty stuff like politics. Go step on a lego. Have you tried restating your proposals for a different audience? Fuck off, you worthless vacuole.

I've seen the logs you posted of that conversation. If you hadn't doubled down on the homophobia stuff, they would have been much more willing to engage your thoughts on technical topics. You seem to have a lot of difficulty letting this go but it's your own failings that made it happen. To give you a taste of your own medicine I have mixed some aggressive comments in with the rest of my post, but it's up to you whether you're open to learning anything instead of dwelling on a fuckup for the rest of your life.

18 2023-12-30 07:38

I'm not >>16 but I want to see the logs if they are publicly available. Redact what you must.

Make no mistake, I only mention it because it's funny.

Here, nothing's redacted:

it sounds like a fart to me

i am a crackpot reactionary and i have a long-standing friendship with mr. korth (nocash from problemkaputt.de) and he is a better person than i am
i do not know what the verisimilitude-guy's political positions are but if the hipsters-in-the-boat are not adult enough to be condescending then the problem lies with the junkyard troupe
anyone who seeks friendship between [strict] peers is looking for a doppelganger or a slave, a person who acts like a spoiled child [with tattoos]

well well well, i have just read the transcript of the conversation
they are obviously unbalanced people with no sense of humility

i do not know what is going on with anglophones that the subject of "travestism" has become so ubiquitous
but it is amazing that no one sees how ridiculous this scene was
the author was very respectful and made it clear that he wanted to talk about computers and not transvestites
but the odd group of computer enthusiasts seem to be more [enthusiasts] into other things
so they should close this group and open one that is in line with their [priority] activities

they are obviously unbalanced

Of course they are, they're on a boat
