Opera 12 Presto source code leaked

Finally.
I have sweet memories of my FreeBSD desktop with a wonderful statically linked (proprietary) executable, not larger than a few hundreds of kilobytes that didn't force me to install dbus, alsa, pulseaudio and other Linux abominations. They even managed to bundle a (useless) torrent client, a (useless) irc client and a (useless) mail client with a perfectly fine browser in one tenth of Firefox size, not counting dependencies.

no exception

Opera 12 is a quite modern layout engine and blazing fast.

It would be nice to see a bit of polish on it, though I guess the release method may make some avoid it.

I miss having a fully keyboard-navigatable browser that ran fine on a laptop with 1 GiB of RAM. I still keep an old Opera 12 install on my Linux machine.

I think the mail client is pretty good! It's no Gnus, but hey. It's also a good RSS feed and Usenet news reader.
