The Pacific Basin Information Node (PBIN) is a gateway to natural resource data and information pertaining to the Pacific Basin region, and strives to enable effective biodiversity management in the Pacific Basin by providing the basic framework and infrastructure for biodiversity information acquisition, analysis and application. ICE is working with PBIN to create web-based GIS mapping services for the Hawaiian Islands.
