 INSTRUCTIONS  Automatic Configuration for Windows Windows users only: Existing dial-up clients should click here to download a .INS file which will automatically configure their software.  Local Call Rate Dial-Up Connectivity with Email and Web space Clients wishing to make use of email and our many other services in addition to dial-up connectivity are requested to dial 08456961001 or 0808 9933 125, depending on the service you wish to use or refer to the above support areas.

 Local Call Rate Dial-Up Connectivity Only Clients wishing Internet Dial-up access only without email or other services. To make use of local call rate Dial-up only you are invited to dial one of the following numbers:  0845 696 1000 or 0844 051 5000 .   Please connect with the Username:  "abel.co.uk"  and Password:   "abel.co.uk". Please refer to "How to set up your Operating System for Internet access" above.
This option is not recommended for clients who wish to make use of our email and other services.

Currently we do not have specific instructions for particular news reading software. If you need help setting up your software, please email our technical support staff for assistance. If you wish to post to news groups please email to arrange a user name and password that will allow posting.

 Open Relay Issues We run an "Open Relay" scanner against all IP addresses in our ADSL netblocks. This is to identify and alert us of any of our customers who are using incorrectly configured Mail Servers. You will be informed by us if you fall in this category. Your speedy co-operation in resolving this issue will be expected.

These scans may show up in your logs with a destination address of "relayscanner@serversecurity.co.uk" and a subject of "Open Relay Test". It is safe to ignore these log entries. Clients wishing to find out more information on how to fix their "Open Relay" problem will find visiting this web site very useful.
