Painted Mountain Golf Resort in Mesa is home to an 18-hole championship golf course built in 1969 by Frank Boxberger. The walker-friendly golf course puts a premium on the short game with small greens and fairways and is an especially good test for junior golfers. Painted Mountain Golf Resort is also home to a new short game area and is host to the John Jacobs Golf School.

by Donna on April 13th, 2011 11:54Visiting a friend and she couldn't believe what great shape the course was in. In fact, we booked another tee time for later in the week.
Pace of play was good. Greens and fairways in great shape.
by john thatcher on March 26th, 2011 10:03worst managed course I have ever played. we waited 5-10 minutes at every hole because it is 'way overbooked. played it three times (you would think I could have figured it out after one or two) and it was the same every time. NEVER AGAIN!
