by GolfGal on July 17th, 2019 17:41Aguila has a great balance of challenge and playability. Simple holes can bite you while challenging holes will reward a solid shot. Every round is unique and you never know what you'll score - sometimes really good and other times you just can't figure out what happened out there.
Staff is always helpful and friendly. Conditions are really pretty good year round with greens that are almost always fast but fair.
Pace of play can get a little backed up on a few holes - drivable par 4 & such, but not too bad.
Food is really good with the new kitchen & dining area. We've stopped in for a quick lunch even when not golfing!

DO NOT use the ball washers, putrid !!!
by Douglas Casad on May 26th, 2015 14:59 This facility deserves a 4.5 rating for enjoyment of play as well as 4.5 for design. The maintenance (greenskeeping) deserve a 4.8 rating. The management and pro house staff I will gladly award a 5 star rating. Folks, this is a gem located at the foot of south mountain.
by Brent Johnstone on March 06th, 2013 06:34Excellent winter course greens over seeded and lush. The golfing is great and the people are super friendly! The best thing though is it is only 5 minutes from me when I am in Phoenix!
