One of the city of Phoenix's golf facilities, Grand Canyon University Golf Course (formerly known as Maryvale Golf Course) was designed by William Bell, architect of U.S. Open host Torrey Pines South in California. His design at Grand Canyon University features generous fairways and gently-raised green complexes. Grand Canyon University Golf Course is especially known for its practice facilities, including a grass range and short-game area and hosts a year-round junior golf school. Grand Canyon University Golf Course is located between Glendale and Phoenix in the Valley of the Sun.

by Zach on February 19th, 2012 21:07Surprisingly nice, but leaves are everywhere. But fairways and greens are very well conditioned. Staff is friendly, and the price isn't bad. 9 is a fairly tough hole, and has a parkland style feel to it.
