The Prospector Course is one of two championship courses at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Phoenix. It was the original golf course at the club. The course sits at the base of the club's namesake mountain range, providing stunning views. The par-3 fourth hole has a particularly dramatic vista. Designed by Jack and Gary Nicklaus, the classic layout features wide, player-friendly fairways and greens with speeds so fast they rival those at major tournaments. The signature hole is the par-5 finishing hole, which is known for its backdrop of the Superstition Mountains and the stunning water feature that spans the entire length of the hole.

by Gregg Levy on May 19th, 2019 21:12Loved the course. I have played some of the nicest courses in N Scottsdale (Grayhawk, Troon North, TPS Scottsdale, Boulders and Prospector did not disappoint
Warning though.... If you go to the club house for lunch avoid the Fish n Chips.... the worst I have ever had ..... No taste but corn meal and a fishbone every 3rd bite. I'm embarrassed for them eat there on 5-19-19
