The layout features rolling fairways and undulating greens that cause uneven lies, but the golf course is still eminently playable for golfers of all skill levels. The layout utilizes the rolling desert ridges and deep arroyos, creating a golf course that is as challenging as it is scenic. One of the most notable holes on the Preserve Golf Course is the par-3 sixth, which features an 80-foot vertical drop to the green.
by Jim conkling on March 16th, 2021 20:28Hard to tell fairway from rough, course in terrible shape. Trying to be upscale but just a glorified muni.
by SA on September 12th, 2020 18:36Played while maintenance was going on in August but knew about that ahead of time. Great staff, course layout and views.
Should be great in another month.
by Michael Ramey on June 17th, 2019 09:41You should ask about the condition of the course before making a reservation. This course is in the worst condition of any course I’ve seen!! The first five greens are completely dead, I mean brown!!! It’s a shame the golf course pro shop doesn’t let you know about this when making a reservation. I quit after the first nine, really unprofessional to have a course in this condition. Too bad for the members.
by RT Jones Jr. on May 10th, 2018 07:51I'm not sure what "Bob Jones" was saying. I played in February and had a great time. Course was in amazing conditions and the views matched!
The Home Owners purchased as of January, so the golf shop was thin for awhile. I was up there on Sunday for lunch and noticed it was fully stocked and looked great.
Summer rates and no snowbirds should make this a great place to play!
by Bob Jones on February 05th, 2018 16:52Really hard to get a tee time, can't get anyone to answer the phone. Can't leave a message cause there no time left on the machine. no body at pro shop or member services - the must want you to go play somewhere else
