Despite the heat, the summer months can be the best time to play golf in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. For one thing, the courses are relatively empty, so you can get around in three and a half hours, and, most importantly, the rates are significantly reduced from peak season. Scottsdale is one of the best golf vacation destinations in the world. If you are looking for the dream golf weekend, there are a lot of combinations.
