tānsi ātawiya kahkiyaw, kitatamiskātināwāw. Belinda Daniels nitisihkāson, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK ohci niya, maka mitoni kinwes Sāskitōminihk nikī-pē-wīkin. I am a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, auntie. I am a long-time educator and a second language learner of nehiyawewin.

I am the founder of the nehiyawak Language Experience Inc. President of FEL Canada. I have just completed my PhD dissertation on the topic of nehiyawewin reclamation. I am also interested in land-based education intertwined with language learning and teaching with boys, and youth.
