ORS can help you with:

Pre-award (applying for funding)

• supporting identification of research grants, awards and contracts
  • securing institutional approval for funding applications
• assisting in the development, submission and tracking of research grant and contract proposals
• guiding the development of proposals to the Canada Foundation for Innovation and British Columbia Knowledge Development Fund
• administering procedures to ensure compliance with research policies

Post-award (after funding is received)

• administering post-award research grants, contracts and creative awards
• processing approvals for human research ethics and animal care protocols
  • ensuring compliance with national regulatory standards in support of research
  • e.g., human research ethics, biosafety, funded/non-funded/student research
• acquiring animals, equipment and reagents to support research projects involving animals
