Bio
Vasco joined the Department of Economics at UVic in 2021 as professor and department chair. Vasco graduated in Economics from ISEG, Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon in 1995, where he was awarded the ICEP prize.
Vasco received a master's degree in Applied Maths (Econometrics) in 1998 from the same institution. In 2002, he completed a PhD in economics at Birkbeck College, University of London.
