NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The father of missing Sumner County teen Sebastian Rogers continues to search for him nearly a month after he went missing.
Seth Rogers told WSMV4 he is at Natchez Trace State Park in West Tennessee Thursday morning, searching for his son.
Sebastian went missing on Feb. 26 and hasn’t been seen on camera since. The elder Rogers told WSMV4 he’s searching the park because it is a place without cameras that might have been a place where Sebastian was “dropped off.” He did not specify what he meant by that comment to WSMV4.
The search for Sebastian by authorities has been scaled back. Search parties looked for days for the missing teen with autism but had no luck.
On March 8, authorities searched a Kentucky landfill for evidence related to Sebastian’s appearance but no leads or evidence pertaining to Rogers’ whereabouts were discovered during the operation. The decision to search the landfill was made “in accordance with ongoing investigative efforts and information gathered in the search for Rogers,” the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office said.
An AMBER Alert was issued on behalf of Sebastian. Authorities remain hopeful he will be found.
