Graduate with an edge in the competitive post-secondary job market. The Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LATHE) program is the first of its kind in Canada. You'll learn how to teach effectively in higher education to support students' learning.
This two-year graduate credit program is guided by recent research in the field of learning and teaching in higher education. Learn how to design lessons, articulate your teaching narrative, give and receive feedback, construct a course and more.
LATHE students build their teaching dossiers and gain practical experience, skills and strategies.
The program is offered to UVic doctoral students. Take it concurrently with your PhD program.
