Overturned dump truck causes delays on I-65 in Franklin

While the crash is causing delays, no injuries have been reported.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – An overturned dump truck caused delays for southbound lanes on Interstate 65 in Franklin.

The dump truck overturned on I-65 South near the McEwen Drive exit just before 4 p.m. Tennessee Department of Transportation cameras show the trucks contents have spilled out onto the roadway.

TDOT reported the truck lost a load of asphalt.

While the crash is causing delays, no injuries have been reported, according to the Franklin Police Department.

Drivers are urged to find an alternative route.

The interstate was cleared and all lanes re-opened around 7 p.m.
