NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Another summer-like day is on tap for the Mid State with temperatures that will be back in the mid to upper 80s again this afternoon, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one or two spots pushed closer to 90.
We will start the day with plenty of sunshine but will slowly see cloud cover mix back in as the day goes along.
Showers and a couple of rumbles of thunder will move into the Mid State late tonight with lows in the mid-60s.

TOMORROW
Off-and-on showers will continue through our Friday afternoon so you’ll want to keep that umbrella on hand. There is no severe weather risk with any storm, but we could still have some heavier downpours at times on Friday. It will be a cooler afternoon with highs back in the 70s for the day
THIS WEEKEND
Watch for a leftover shower on Saturday, but we should mostly dry out in the afternoon with highs back in the low 80s.
Sunday will be mostly dry until late in the day when we have another small chance of a pop-up shower in parts of the Mid State. Highs on Sunday will top off in the mid 80s.
NEXT WEEK
More showers will develop on Monday before we dry out on Tuesday. Highs early next week stay well in the 80s.
By Wednesday will have a few more showers develop late in the day with highs in the mid 80s.
