NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man wanted for a July 4, 2023, homicide at a Nashville apartment complex has been arrested.
Metro Nashville Police said Kejuan Jordan-Cole was arrested on Sunday morning after he ran a red light at the intersection of 12th Avenue South and Deford Bailey Avenue. Midtown Precinct officers initiated a traffic stop on the 2020 Nissan Altima Jordan-Cole was driving. He stopped, bailed out of the car, and took off running. He was captured after a foot chase and officers found he had an outstanding criminal homicide warrant.
Police had identified Jordan-Cole, 22, as one of the suspects in the July 4 shooting of Christopher Harris, 27, at the Overlook Apartments.
Police said a group of seven men opened fire on Harris, striking him multiple times. More than 100 shots were fired in the shooting.
Jordan-Cole was identified as a suspect in the shooting in August. At the time, two teens, ages 16 and 17, were taken into custody shortly after the shooting and charged in juvenile court. A 23-year-old man, who police did not identify, was also arrested. Kentrell Baugh, 16, was arrested in September.
Court records show Deandre Jordan has been indicted on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for June 5.
Robterrius Clack has been charged with accessory after the fact, according to court records.
