NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - All lanes of Interstate 40 East are shut down at Mile Marker 231 due to a crash Wednesday afternoon.

Lebanon police are at the scene of the crash. No other information has been released at this time.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Smartway map is showing heavy congestion in that area as of 3 p.m.
